Jakarta Tour
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah showcases the rich culture of Indonesia, featuring traditional architecture, regional pavilions, costumes, dances, and customs from 26 provinces. Sunda Kelapa, a historic port at the mouth of the Ciliwung River in North Jakarta, was the main port of the Sunda Kingdom and is now famous for its traditional pinisi ships. Jembatan Kota Intan, built by the VOC in 1628, is Indonesia's oldest bridge and was designed to open for small ships. Nearby, the Fatahillah Museum, originally the 17th-century Batavia City Hall, has served as the VOC government seat, a court, and even a prison, and today offers a comprehensive history of Jakarta from prehistory to the present.
